CONCRETE GUITAR

IN COLLABORATION WITH DIMARZIO

MADE IN STATEN ISLAND

A collaboration between artist Christina Werkmeister and legendary pickup maker DiMarzio, this one-of-a-kind Telecaster. The body is covered in a custom concrete finish, giving it a raw, tactile surface while maintaining the balance and playability of a traditional electric guitar. All hardware is matte black, reinforcing its minimalist, industrial aesthetic.

At the heart of the instrument is the DiMarzio Chopper T pickup in all black — a high-output, noise-free Telecaster pickup with bold mids and searing clarity.

The custom 3-way switch offers flexible tone shaping:

  • Position 1: Tone control is bypassed; the bridge pickup runs straight through the volume pot for a bright, percussive tone.

  • Position 2: Traditional Esquire-style wiring with volume and tone pots active for full tonal control.

  • Position 3: Tone pot bypassed, with a treble roll-off capacitor and resistor network producing a darker, muted sound.

The guitar will have its debut at Werkmeister’s 2025 Concrete Concrete exhibit at Hub17NYC Gallery, June 5-8.
